What is this thing?

Pardon my ignorance, but I spotted this slice of wicked awesomeness on the campus of UNLV on my way through the desert and need to know what it is.

If you think Land Rovers are noisy, drive a Pinzy. You'll think the wheels, driveshafts and the whole damn transmission is falling out. And don't go over 50 or it all really will. Air cooled. Modular. You can make a 4, 6, 8 or 10 wheel version by adding axle units.

You actually answered two questions for me Josh...I had seen this thing rolling around Miami during the Ultra music festival a few weeks back. Never was able to snap a pic, but did a search for Pinz and found it.

Red bull spent a ton of money on Pinza party wagons. Swissarmyvehicles had two for sale. One was stripped bare, the other actually worked.

Here was mine. Great little truck for around the farm. Horrendously under-powered and didn't like cold mornings. I bought it for $11,000, drove it for 3 years, put some minor work into it, and then sold it for $13,000. At least they hold their value. Not bad.
