Estimates are great, but what are the sales? I've known real examples where someone paid 6k, and seen auctions where burned ones went 25+.

I wish I had the used car savvy to do a NAS 110 market letter, but I'm just note sure what is required. Anyone know Keith Martin? I hear he's a Rover guy, maybe he would be willing to throw some tips out there.

Title is worth 10k+ parts are probably worth 5k - so the math would say 15k.... But I think it's nuts.

So 20k is too much to me, but then again I am king of cheap vulture deals.

That low eh.

I was thinking $30k. Has anyone bought one for less than that?

I've only seen two over the last couple of years that were sub 30K. One didn't run and had a sketchy seller, the other one was this one which was an anomaly.

If I could have found a rusty one in the 20s I would have bought it.

http://www.landroverwilmington.net/u...0d8493b966.htm

So I passed on it when they turned down $30k It is not really rusty some in the rear crossmember and bad t-pieces, but the doors were salvageable, hole in bulkhead -- none of it terminal, but it has some other issues (bad redo of interior, leaking exhaust, LT77, HVAC issues, hacked for rear AC, ORIGINAL OIL COOLER LINES!!!, and the wiring is all hacked for stereo/heated seat etc -- they even moved the fuse box)!. Told me $35k or more to get it done.

Sitting at LR Wilmington in Delaware.

Call Rob the sales manager Rob and say I (Ron) referred you.
