What is it worth

So my 110 is having the radiator recored and a bottom AC line rebuilt as I blew it the other day. No big deal and I guess normal for the age but it has turned the hate up again. I was wondering about an old disco or classic as a daily driver. What does everyone really think this thing is worth

hahah I passed that thing today! I was on the phone with my gf and commented about how shiny it was! For what it's worth, it was on the upholsters lot...

as for worth, I think far less than that, it's in amazing shape-yes, but if you're going to spend $8500, go for a 2004 Disco2, far more comfortable and a ton more power... or even a lower year D2... D1s are nicer offroad, but the D2s are better on road.

Upholsters lot?

I am such an ass for wanting a stick. Figured, if they took 4 for it. I would fly to town, see my mom, eat at the Fireplace, drive by Ron's for a massive parts theft, and drive back to cali.

True; just like you never call San Francisco "Frisco" or a Ford Mustang a "Stang"... :-)

3k.

If you want a nice one, NJ is not the place to shop. All the DIs I see around here have rust issues which, like defenders, is the killer.

Also, if you are over 6ft tall, 94-95 DIs the seats don't go far enough back (fixed in 96).

Ron

PS feel free to stop by the house and loot.

Funny - my brother in law asked me about that truck the other day. I have to say it looks ultra clean in the pics. He's looking for a Disco w/ manual in NJ so he might have to pay a premium.

Some of my family members have d1's (94&95's) and I'm 6'3" and it dosnt bother me...for what its worth.

Id personally rather have a d1, simpler. You already know the axle well, plus I like the looks better.

Barry- Got a nice '04 D-II TReK clone(orig G4)- for the second time around, as it had a little mishap while w/ it's owner in San Diego for 2 years. Sure would add some color to the avitar :-) only 32k miles, and only 0.5 mile on the roof

Too bad, Dale. Know how much you love these things. I'm sure the next project will be unique too. It will be hard for a buyer to resist this one...just check out these pics!

Thanks Brian- for the pics and kind words. I forget who's signature says something about 'wanting to keep them all'.... Thoughts Barry? Been stalling putting her on the blocks, as it is tough to let her go- again.

'08, 9k miles, extended warranty- taken in partial trade towards the 130. This too can be yours....$40ish as is- lift, tires, rack, ARB w/ Superwinch 10k#, dog guard, rear custom drawer system, F&R light guards, full HD LR floor mats, etc. And '08 is the last year of free maintenance- I think around 4.5 years left.
