What If Rovers on the Rocks was Held in Japan?

...It would be called Jimneys on Japan, or Samurais n' Sushi, or...

Stumbled upon an off road event here in Japan today. There were about 50 Samurais/Jimneys competing in a fairly challenging (for a Suzuki) man-made course. It appeared nearly all the trucks were open-diff and some even 2 wheel drive. All leaf sprung, very anemic in power. Most of the drivers couldn't drive (surprise). Lots of good roll-overs, lack of any safety standards, and if you got stuck a backhoe pulled you out with a snatch strap and a 2k lbs rated shackle.

Cars disintergrate here pretty quick. I'm sure the 5-bar is holding the truck together.

We have a lot of those little samurais in Australia, don't let their little stature fool you, they make great off road vehicles...very narrow wheel track, super light and cheap to run....allows you do to a lot to them and with them for very little money, I've seen them go places big boys can't..
