This is great, Mike. I'll definitely keep in touch with the family to see what their wishes are for the 90.

Just as long as we don't have to do it in 7 days like last time.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Thanks Mike this means a lot. I think it just needs an axle but am not sure.

Let's not jump the gun on raffling the truck. I know brad had it a long time and it might really mean something to the family to keep it.

Great of your to offer that Mike. I have been thinking of making the same offer. The raffle idea after enough of any issues with the truck are resolved seems like a way to make a more healthy then current market return on the trucks value. For Brad's family.

Be really nice to see D90 source do something like this for one of their own.

But if the family wants to keep it around, lets definitely help them with that as well.

Just heard from Barry. He spoke to the widow and she wants to keep the truck for their son. Very cool! Any help is appreciated. Spoke to Jeff Barnes and he is willing to give us a break on shipping it to Maine. Not that Mike needs any help but there are alot of hands here willing to help to make this thing very special for Brads son.

Wow I feel like a real SOB.

Id hope we could chip in and get it fixed for the son. Id be happy to mail some paypal money or check if it would help get the truck fixed. This guy obviously liked the 90 and I hope it wouldnt have to be sold if he wanted to keep it for junior.

Just so everyone knows what this truck meant to brad and his family, there were a big picture of it in the church next to the sign in sheet.

If the family wants to keep the truck in LA and you guys decide to have a work weekend down there, I would love to participate. I think it would be a great way to do a D90 Source meet-up. I'm happy to bring my tools along with any spares that I can contribute.

Thanks Chris

I know you know the woes of an axle issue. I think as of now we will need to check the truck and see what condition it is in. I think Brad removed the rear axle and the truck is on stands but I am not positive. I would hope we could ship it that way but if we can't we will get it back together to roll it on a transport.

We cant ship it that way... so if they decide to let us send it to Maine we can throw an axle under it so it can roll on and off. A work weekend sounds great. If nothing else we need to do an LA happy hour in Brads honor.

Yeah, both Barry and I were happy to hear that they want to keep the truck for Brad's only son. So, we'll keep in touch with the family and see when a good time is to go up and take a look at the truck and assess what need to be done in order to get it shipped.

We were both happy to see a picture of Nola at the service. We're definitely having a big happy hour in his honor.

Rather than paying a couple grand to a shipper to bring the truck round trip we could buy a trailer or see if we could get one donated. Setting up a relay where members tow the truck cross country and back would be very cool. Im happy to pick it up within a few hundred miles of Maine and tow to ECR.

Great name Jeff... Im a filmmaker by trade and would like to volunteer to document the entire journey of Nola from start to finish. I think it would be a great gift to give his kids. Being able to see her travel across country handed off from member to member would be an amazing thing.

Im riding shotgun with you.... How cool is the thought of board members that have never met getting together for the first time to pass this trailer along? I dont have many good ideas but this one I really like.

I gladly drive south - west up to 500 miles from Baltimore ( each way ) to go pick it up and transfer the torch to Jason.
