what does your landy do for you?

thought it would be fun to see what yours does mine hauls sheep, horse food and crap, and yes, the kids too!!! so far the only off roading is up or down the trail to deliver horse food 'n hay to the barn. now the kids want to bike rack so we can head off to the mountains. Beast-Lee will be working hard this summer.

My three adorn my drive in various states of functionality, routinely vacuum out my bank account and mostly make me happy. They take us camping and provide lots of wheeling stories for the campfire.

Gives me something to waste my money on, drops panties, makes Disco owners jealous, makes HS girls wave, and provides hours of enjoyment driving it around town, and wheeling it when I get the chance.

I use several different rovers and they all are different in configuration however generally its just point A to point B, which is pretty important though. Lately I've been driving my Series III on the weekends the most because it has a bbq bolted onto the bumper.

Mine helps mework by hauling tubing and rover pieces and parts from machin shops and etc. It helps me play on trails and on scenic drives. It helps me relax when it goes camping, hauling roof tents gear and trailers.

Hauls the rhodesian ridgeback, hauls various house project items, camping gear, makes all the friends jealous, and makes me laugh when the wife tries to drives it. She can't drive manuals very well.

It goes off road for me on the weekends and gets me to the mountains to snowboard and bike.

My D recently started to pay for itself too! I have a photo shoot with Ralph Lauren on Tuesday. More on that later

hey daniel,

creativefilmcars called me about that too. Unfortunately mine wasn't selected. Are they flatbedding it out to LI? I had to laugh at treating a Defender like that but creative seems like a topnotch outfit. It's good to know that the truck will be a fellow member's.

Yeah it was through creativefilmcars.com. They said I was picked over 12 other Defenders, which I found funny, because mine isn't really stock looking. I have to take the Hellas off and thatís it. The contract was hilarious too. Talked about how I have to have the truck cleaned inside and out with no personal belongings in it and I would be penalized if it was dirty. Im goign to make a day out of it and get a place out in Montauk and chill on the beach and bring my girl. I will try to take some photos too and post them on here.

This was one of the shots I send them too

that's awesome. It sounds like it's gonna be a lot of fun.. plus you have an excuse to get the truck cleaned up. I can't wait to see the final result. I'm sure the women of downtown manhattan will be all over it with RL credibility.

This happened last weekend, my WW2 10 tonne truck broke down 35 miles from home , we towed it back on a chain with our 3.5V8 landy in low range. No probs.

Also a ridgeback hauler!
It seems the Ridgeback is the Dog of choice. had to swap out the stock seats, she couldn't get comfy! She's almost as old as my truck!

Awesome dogs...my neighbor has one. I dog-sit for them when they're out of town...she's a sweetheart.

My Labrador loved the LE...but doesn't care much for the ST...apparently he's fancy and prefers plush rugs and leather in the Holland & Holland

If you look close in the photo you can see he's happily asleep in the back of the LE while riding down Kane Creek in Moab

He's OK in the Classic too...as long as he has his buddy with him
