It is not registered as a Land Rover.... It is registered as a "BLR Replica".

VIN: SA91E7B69DA306001
WMI / VDS / VIS: SA9 / 1E7B69 / DA306001

Make (Manufacturer): Limited production company (less than 500 vehicles)
Model year: 2013
Manufactured in: United Kingdom (Europe)
Sequential number: 001
Fewer than 500 per year: YES

Basically it is a UK supplied VIN for a low production car, built in 2013. No idea how it was imported and titled as a 1985 model.

Amazing how some stuff falls thru the cracks and other get smashed or sent back. I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, kit car or not.

And it seems to being sold through a dealer. Strange that a dealer would not be aware of the possible legal problems.

Sketchy is an understatement.

I believe its a state issued VIN although most of those start with the state abreviation.

See my post. It is a UK VIN for a low production vehicle.

"SA" = UK
"9" = Low prod (<500) vehicle.
.....
"D" = 1983 or 2013. Obviously 2013.....

Just saw this thread linked from another thread, but I figured I would let you know that that vibration can be fixed with a transmission flush. I've fixed a bunch by flushing 12 qts of fluid through those transmissions.

Actually, those aren't "Oklahoma" Plates...

Perhaps it is easier to get through something like that on Tribal plates, I just don't know...

Ebay was probably not the best place to sell that truck.

It is a great looking truck tho... I've seen it many times...

Josh,

Understanding Berkshire may be less than desirable to do business with, how can you call this truck "shit?" Is there a candy coating with a rotten center? Forgive my lack of researching, I'm in a hurry and am just asking.

Josh was probably referring to the chipped paint on the chassis where you can see the galvanizing.... absolute rubbish.... LOL. That is probably the only flaw I saw on this truck (beside the tranny) and it is one very well put together 110. The interior shots are amazing, as is the engine bay.

He was referring to BLR, their reputation, and the idiocy of of anyone wanting to spend that kind of coin on a car like that in this current climate of seizures.
