I've had both reactions, some chicks absolutely love it then others just don't understand it.

50/50. The girls that know its a Defender I sleep with, the ones that think its a "cool Jeep" I kick out.

What age? My girls love them. Never seen any interest from a girl older than pre-teen though, but keep in mind that's with me at the wheel :D

I'm happily married to a smoking hot chick, and I was with her before I bought my 90 over three years ago, so take my opinion for what it's worth:

Girls are completely indifferent towards Defenders. But guys will drool over it and ask you tons of questions about it every time you take it out. If you're trying to attract the ladies, get a BMW M3 Convertible.

My wife love is, in fact when i'm really upset at the truck for some reason (such as the week and a half no-start issue currently going on), she reminds me that if I sell the truck she's going to leave me for the new owner.

Here in LA, they don't care about them. I've had more looks with my LR3 than any of the D90's, with exception for the 110. I think its because the spoiled LA girls don't want to get their clothes dirty in an offroad vehicle. they like leather, AC and air ride suspensions, basically whatever looks good pulling up to the valet in Beverly Hills.

I got a shitload of attention in my old AA Yellow 95. Even got flashed a few times in L.A. (yet another reason I am looking at getting back into one ASAP)

Most girls think it's a Jeep anyway, but guys know what they are. My wife has had guys follow her into parking lots before to talk to her when she is in the 90. I don't let her drive it anymore
But I will say back in the single days old #158 served me well... Anyone else ever done the nasty in a 90? Wow, that could be a whole new thread.........

Neil i agree with you about the Defenders in LA but I will say that my 1961 109 pickup is a chick magnet. Its my daily driver over the 110 which doesnt fit in many parking garages. I love pulling it up to Valet at swanky spots and seeing the reaction it gets next to the cheese bags in their Bentleys and Ferraris. I had two girls at a light scream out nice truck the other day from their convertible Aston Martin. Needless to say i didnt mention that to my wife!

I don't mind them...just as long as they don't mind me being shallow...lov'n them only for the body.

Man, I miss the days in college when I cruised around during the summers in my lifted CJ-7 with no shirt on. I got so many honks and whistles and several boob flashes. Now when I drive around with no shirt on in the Defender chicks make funny faces and drivers are blinded by the pale-skinned middle-aged man in the drivers seat. It's truely sad.....
