My neighbor has the hots for Defenders ever since I let her drive mine through the woods behind my house.

She apparently also has the hots for me after one of the comments she made to me last night, after I finished putting the full cage back on.

"So how much weight can the roll cage hold?"

"A lot"

"Like the weight of a person?"

"Sure"

"You could totally do some freaky stuff in the back of this thing."

That's all it usually would take to hook a person - let them drive it.

Len if it was an isolated incident yes i would of thought of that but it happens all the time. Im fortunate enough to own several nice cars and my point was none of them get the attention of the old rover.

My girl calls them "bread box's" and loaths them and the time spent with them.

Since there are usually a couple of 110's in the driveway its an issue.

I tried to let my girl drive it once. Almost dropped the transmission. She figured all manual's drove the same. She keeps telling I need bigger tires on it.

Thats better than nothing. Besides, you can "massage" some details of the story.. for example instead of saying the above, you can simply say:

Nobody notices them in Seattle, either - too many greenies. You'd get more attention driving a Toyo "Pious". It is sad.

My wife loves Defenders. We have had one 90 and two 110's. She loves to drive them because she gets tons of guys honking and waving all the time. A hot chick driving a 110 in my opinion is hard to beat.

I am an original owner...........So I got my Defender about the exact time my (now) wife and I started 'officially' dating. We are very happily married............I think how lucky I am all the time.

I don't THINK the D-90 is why she stays with me........................BUT I don't plan to sell the truck and find out

Hey Doug if its a problem you can always store one or two at my place. I'm happy to drive them around a little to keep everything working right.
