What adds more value: early original chassis or galvanized chassis?

So like the title says, what adds more value to a vehicle in the long run: early original chassis or galvanized chassis?

Probably right...but too much work for the project I have in mind. A swap is much easier to achieve in this case.

That's what I'm thinking...plus then it'll be sure to outlive me (and probably my kids). Every time I look at the galvy on my Series I wonder why they just didn't galvy the friggin chassis and bulkhead! Drives me crazy.

Any difference if it is a Series or 90 or 110 we are considering?

In reality it shouldn't matter....but it probably does! Willing to entertain expert input on this aspect as well actually.

My expert input will be cloudy as I am at same bar with Heather and a friend as when we all hit Southport.

I do!! I am endeavoring to hit the DC/NYC/CT trifecta on consecutive Thursdays. It's a legacy of living in NYC where the weekends become amateur hour.

Weekends are for rookies or lightweights.

Lighten up....it's Saturday night!

Hey jackass, it's Tuesday afternoon.

Pretty much an accurate exchange between myself and some bartender when I was in my 20s.

Ask me if I am either (I) wildly surprised or (II) have not had a similar conversation.

Haha.

I much prefer a galvy chassis on anything vs original, in the UK they seem to want to stay original, but screw that, i like my stuff to last. I would and did pay more for a galvy chassis.

I've never been in there but had a tuna club from Spick and Span for lunch today. Looking fwd to next Thursday.

My thoughts are galvy (unless high quality NAS) btw although I am far from any expert.

I'm not a collector, but I would have paid extra for a galv chassis.

The fact that you (we) need to get sitters to go out sort of defeats the coolness factor of going out on a Thursday. In your case, I'm guessing to the bar at TGIFriday's.
