If you want to get a truck into the US do it on the original and then swap to a galvanized chassis. DOT considers chassis swaps VIN tampering and may seize your truck.

I just got back from lure Hollywood, thur is the best time to.go out sometimes. Hopefully my truck will be worth more after I give it its new galvy chassis.
