Who on here came up with the term "lifestyle accessory"?

Nope...

The magic words are Land and Rover and anything that is green in color or oval in shape.

Though if we see a new round of restrictions there may be a new set of magic words...

Didnt the Camel Trophy eventually become a 'lifestyle event'?

This guy is a genius. Capitalizing on all the people who want the status symbol of a Defender and adding cushy interiors to make them think they are driving something fancy. That was really all Land Rover had to do to sell these in the US. Dress up the interior and make people think it is fancy. Sell the image. Something that Land Rover failed to do with the Defender in the US. They got it with the Range Rovers, but were too lazy to put the effort into the requirements for what, side impact and airbags?

I have no clue. Just look very similar. Are his trucks here? In the video his NAS is parked next to a few.

Landrovers UK's site has some fantastic claims. A 1988 V8 gasoline 110 that gets 18-24 mpg for fuel economy. I want that.

Prices

I just looked at his site to see the anticipated pricing. I was only able to find a hint at the price range in the press section with the 90s starting at $90,000 and the 110s at $110,000.

That is pretty original pricing scheme... if that is the case, I am looking for a D-25 or a D- that has a lower number.

I agree with MGreenspan... LR missed this one with the Defender. I see that occasional Merc G-class, which is all status and ugly, with nice interior refinements. I feel that some of the issue with LR and the Defender is the multiple ownerships over the last two decades.

My 2 cents...
