That's a kick ass price. All you need is a timer.

But you also concerned me by saying that it gets up to heat fine on the highway, but then cools back down fast in town. that doesn't sound right at all to me. that sounds like a thermostat stuck open. once you get up to temp, it should stay there a good long while if you are still moving around.

If temps drop fast as soon as you come off the highway, and go way below 180-190F, you have a t-stat problem.

then sounds like t-stat is working, but still doesn't sound right. cold air and 11 oclock position doesn't go together. You have the late model dash? If so, I'm not sure how the temp controls work on that. Are they vacuum controlled? Anybody?

As mentioned in other threads, I spent a month with a 2011 130 in Africa back in August, and that heater rocked, and it was freezing in Africa (literally). That Puma heater would warm up quickly just at idle and put out a ton of heat in the cab without needing to drive around.

I think your heater control is jacked up somehow, the more I think about it.
