Possibly in - RHD, 200/300TDI

Curious, do you think this could be mixed with the new rear unit that Coolair/RN has?

LHD V8

If the pricing for the complete kit is $1,200ish before shipping, as suggested earlier in the thread, I'd likely buy two.

The 200 and 300 kits would be very different.
Compressor mounting and Vbelt verses serpentine.
Also RHD vs LHD is also very different.
So what happens if you need a LHD 300TDI kit and UD orders you a RHD 200TDI Kit?
You need to be specific.

Nice unit, but so rare, have never seen one in use.

Webasto's site offers three fitments, 2007 and newer, (which I assume no one here will need), a kit for td5 engines, and then the 300 tdi. V8 and 200's aren't listed.
To my knowledge the type of dash you have has no bearing on these units since they screw into the lower dash pad/plenum to mount and those were the same from 83-2007.
I will ask if a V belt compressor is available. It is my hope that the more units being purchased, the more seriously they will take us and perhaps make up some v8 and 200 kits. Again this is just an interested head count thread and the higher the count, the more likely we are to be able to go outside the box. My man Johan has graciously offered to let us put these in a container he has coming over so shipment just got cheap.
Don't be shy, there is little chance you will ever be able to buy an a/c unit for these prices delivered to the US ever again. That said our timeline will be protracted, Webasto doesn't expect stock from the manufacturer until mid September and I'm not sure how quickly Johan will have a container following on that but I sincerely doubt we would have our hands on these before November. Just want to align expectations with reality.

RHD 300 TDi, add me to the list. Doug's argument is flawless.

Ive seen no one with a RHD V8 say they want one. Curious to see if anyone might know if there would be any fitment/clearance issues before throwing my hat in the ring. But since Webasto doesnt list a kit for V8, might be moot.
