My son has quite a few of those. Granted, they're not in NIB condition. He actually "drives" his Defenders. I keep an eye out for new ones everytime we are out shopping.

I have like 10 of those 17 trucks, and the SVX 90. I should really buy all the defenders I ever find and sell them in 15 unit packs for $300, I'll be able to buy a real 90 in no time!

I typically buy two, one stays in the box ("for daddy") and one goes into the toy chest.... Now.... I know what drives the prices up: some items are "NLA"!

um...guilty of buying any and every rover Matchbox I see...I think I have the entire selection of Range Rovers.

It is so bad that when my mom is buying Matchboxes for grandkids...she knows to find Land Rovers for me...and I am getting up there in age...

Agree. I even have a 110 that has a "factory" mechanical problem.

When the body was pressed on the chassis, something wasn't right with the front axle mounting and the left front wheel is now irretrievably crammed up into fenderwell.

I actually like it. An art-imitates-life thing, I guess...
