Washington Auto Show

Anyone going this year? I love to go to these but have not made it in the past few. Hope to go down this weekend and check it out.

I used to go every year, but frankly the lack of participating manufacturers and the difficulty in actually getting to any of the few interesting cars that are there make it not worth the effort for me anymore.

Headed to Williamsburg instead to escape the damned snow.

This reminds me of a question I meant to ask a long time ago.

Does anyone have any pictures from either the New York International Auto Show (Jacob Javits Center) or the like from '91/92/93/94/95/96/97 era of the Defender when it was brought over and displayed state-side?

I went yesterday and enjoyed it, but I think every few years is about the right interval to go. The American manufacturers floor was boring to me - nothing new or interesting to me. On the import floor they also had all the alternative fuel vehicles and a wider variety in general, although as Tony said they restricted access to stuff in a weird way - like they didn't let you get into the one Nissan leaf on display (although that guy at least opened the hood) as well as other hybrids like the volt, yet you can ge in and out of other 100K cars.

Eat before you go as food is pretty expensive there!

Didn't go over to it (I was somewhat limited by having to keep track of kids). I saw some classic cars but only from a distance.
