Wanna help UK servicemembers and veterans?

Hey everyone-
My wife Jill is riding her Brompton folding bicycle over 250 miles from Paris to London to raise money for the Royal Armed Forces Benevolent Society. If anyone is inclined to throw a few bucks (quid!) toward this effort we'd be super appreciative.

I'll be following the route in the 130 so I promise to engage in Defender spotting along the way...

Thanks for your attention even if you're not inclined to open your wallet!

Day one - Paris to Beauvais. Why are there trees along the Champs Élysées? Because the Brits like to bike in the shade! Started from Gare d'Nord, proceeded past Hotel les'Invalides, through the Arc du Triumph, and off to rural France. Perfect weather, more pix to come!

Lousy internet access the way, but Jill and the group all finished at Wellington Barracks in central London on Saturday afternoon. This was a great bunch of people and it was a pleasure supporting their efforts.

Bonus Rover content - we stickered up the 130 and got a chance to help run support for the event. The kids handed out waters, cheered on the riders, and attempted to give "helpful" directions.

No one pointed out the irony of a German registered vehicle supporting an RAF event commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain...
