Wait....what?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI...m=200989077577

1970 Land Rover Defender 109 SIIA
Item condition:Used
“some delamination on left hand front door. roof window seals could use replacing.”
Time left: 6d 06h (Nov 23, 2013 16:13:29 PST)
VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): 35100737G
Price:US $159,000.00

Full Dormobile conversion. RHD, high ratio transfer case, parabolic springs, AVM hubs, Chevy Iron Duke engine. Full cabinet with shelves and mirror. Cooker with line set up to use small portable propane cylinders. Sink has a small crack in it. All the Dormatic seats work in all the positions. Good table. Upper hammocks are in place, but fabric wasn't double sewn on the seams to support full weight. Full set of curtains and whisper gleiss curtain tracks all around. Nice wood plywood on door panels seats are in good shape the vinyl is still in good shape. This is rare to have a Dormobile camper in this complete shape, it still has the plaques on it from the caravan dealer in London. She left the factory as a RHD 6cylinder export model. This truck is NICE and is a dream truck for those of you who know Series Land Rovers. I'm testing the waters. I don't have to sell and won't if I don't get what I'm asking.

Yeah. That popped up on the newly listed the other day. For that price the guy is insane for it not being perfect. But I think he just wants people to make offers.

Wow, that is a really cool truck.

I wonder if he'd entertain $93,500?

I just can't justify $159,000.

Every few months, a pretty good RHD Dormie comes up for sale on ebay uk. Price seems to end up in the $10k-$30k range. So, whatever. It'll stay up there until he decides to pull it down.

I know this truck. The owner is a fellow Solihull Society member who has brought it to the Colorado English Conclave last few years. I can't believe he's considering letting her go.

Priced at $159,000, I don't think he is.
