There is no better pizza in my opinion, any time I worked within 15 min. of Pepe's I would have it about 3 days a week. When I knew I would not be close for a while I would buy 3-4 pies and freeze them.

You can't miss the Mexican food truck off 95 just look for all the Flags!!!

Louis lunch is good too, we would send an apprentice to wait a 1/2 hour before opening or you risk a lengthy wait sometimes. Their burgers are cooked in vertical cast iron grill's from the turn of the century.

You are never far from great food in New Haven no matter what you like.

Ended up staying at the Inn at middletown, hit Krust pizza and bourbon. New place, clearly, but it was darn good pizza.
