Arrow Vintage Military Trailer Value

I just got on consignment a really cool trailer that matches the customer's D90. It is registered as a 1978 Land Rover Utility Trailer. Anybody familiar with these and know what it might be worth?
Thanks,

Ken

That's a Sankey buddy...I just picked mine up the other week:
http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...postcount=2460

I'd be interested in buying the canvas & hoopset!

Value I'd say 1500-2500 depending on condition.

OOOOOO and it's black. I like...wish I could be a buyer right now - just don't have the space.

Probably worth about $250.

Just go ahead and hook it to the 110 and put it on the transport to Texas

My $0.02...it's better to have a non-matching color trailer! Lest you run the risk of being too lame.

Just to be clear, two types of sankey's one is the narrow type as you have with no drop down tailgate. The other is a wider body version with a drop down. All in the sankey family.

There's also one other type...the conversion! Narrow track WITH tailgate:

Thank you for your comments Gents. I knew it was just a very nice Sankey, but the owner thinks it is something special. It has the D90 wheels, glass military lenses, canvas and hoopset, U.S. Wiring, etc, but is still just an old trailer. I am going to wait till he comes around before posting it for sale.

I have a sankey titled in MA, not sure what you mean. The date of the trailer "build" exceeds any requirements around inspection etc.

Nice one on the "conversion". Best of both worlds! The wide track is nice but gets a little challenging on trails and is too large/heavy behind a d-90 on challenging trails.

Right...I forgot that Josh likes "matchy matchy" by sporting the jeans with jean shirt. That does all make sense now.

I think the color match trailer works with some colors but not all...of course, in this case, Josh would need a couple more boosts

as the owner of a matchy matchy trailer I think it was the way to go - it looked like they belonged together but not in a weird way - if I had painted them different colors I think it would have looked like I was renting a trailer from uhaul - although one of the reasons I sold it with my truck was that it matched and I did not want to pull it behind a blue truck

Matchy is so boring and uninteresting. The LR color pallet is so rich, broaden yourself and choose something unique. Plus as you drive by and someone is distracted by your truck, they may not notice that match trailer.

Now for sale!

Bump. So we finally got the customer to agree to sell the trailer at a reasonable price. It is now for sale at $2000. It is located in Framingham, Ma. and has been stored indoors since the summer. Come and get it!

PM. or call my cell. 954-816-8885.

If not sold quickly, it will be re-posted in the parts for sale section.
