Yup, convoy lights. It's a Belgian Military 4x2- no low range, no front diff and a different 24v system than a MOD 24v. We're fitting disc brakes and power steering!

Euro MODs each had their unique take on whats necessary and LR accommodated their foibles. Dutch Army had their own tail light arrangement for example.

A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

They were put in the stock location for a NAS 110.

Doug,
Harold has about 20 cars slowly returning to base minerals in his back yard. A couple have mature trees growing through them.
At least most of mine run.
He performs my state inspections and I balance his tires. We get along well.
None of the neighbors has complained about the nearly daily visits from rollbacks.....
