It was sold in December... we just got it in last week, and they have requested that it be wrapped in vinyl for some reason... I wish I had that kind of money!

It's the same here... we're getting calls from all over the US, with people that "have to have one"... we've heard every emergency story there is... anniversary present, wedding present, a doctor said that he will refer me to the 88 doctors working under him... LR gave us two extras this month, a surprise last Friday... they were sold by lunchtime on Monday.

Oh, and what's the deal with no more Autobiographies this year? What am I supposed to tell all of the exporters looking for black/black autos?

meh.. Range Rover just dosen't do it for me anymore. Plus they take a huge crap drop in value due to LR making so many of them. At least this new body style will hold its value for like a year, than when more come it will drop.

How much you want to bet my Bentley is worth more than a new bodystyle RR? My main reason for purchasing a car is the attention it gets, and Bentley gets more than RR. If I wanted a new style RR I would of gotten it but its too cheap for me.

What in the hell does "wrapped in vinyl" mean!? I hope it's not what I think.

I saw one on the street the other day. It was pretty ugly. Does look like a Ford Explorer and has this weird gray Nike swoosh plastic trim on the side.

Sorry Land Rover dealers.

Yup, was joking about exporting... LR will track the new ones and send out a self destruct command if they go overseas... We get tons of calls from exporters for black/black autobiographies, so having a matte black auto with black interior like the one on our showroom is highly sought after.

I swear it could be mistaken for an Explorer...the lights and grill are what make it look so similar...

I personally don't think the Explorer really looks like the Range Rover, but any unfortunate front end resemblance to the Explorer probably has more to do with pedestrian safety regs than purposeful design decisions.

The world is moving towards a NASCAR-style "Car of Tomorrow" philosophy, mostly due to stringent safety regulations.

Well, I'm honestly on the fence about the new exterior design... I know the a lot of manufacturers are using the wrap around light designs now. I honestly haven't looked at the new Explorer closely, but I'm willing to bet it can't stand up to the new Range Rover or any of the old ones for that matter...

I wouldn't kick it out of bed. Especially with the captains chairs in back with the wood arm rest.

Gee I wonder why? Oh yeah Ford owned LR when the New RR was deigned. What better than to copy the most recognized, iconic vehicle in the world.
The Range Rover is much more than just looks.

And yeah that Bentley will really hold its value, not!
