That makes me so happy. That entire series (4x4 is Born) is great. Sure, he's basically just bolting together a lot of aftermarket parts, but its still fun to watch hours of LR footage.

You're right Jeff - I was trying to pre-empt the usual commentary about the series which is that its not technical enough or people just want to pick apart his choices of mods. I for one think its great. I think the sour grapes are usually on the UK sites.

I've got the DVD, unfortunately its PAL only (but region-free IIRC), so you can pretty much only play it on a computer unless you are one of those people that likes to buy multi-system AV equipment. Mark Evans also signed the case, which I though was kinda nice.

Not so much the sour grapes over here, but the fact that most of (the bolt on) stuff is supplied by scorpion racing, and they have a very low rating over here indeed.

Mark has also done several other series too... a sports car is born (an old MG), a bike is born, a helicopter is born and another i think.

Not bad for someone who's real profession is a vet.
