Victim of the Malibu fires

A house belonging to Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers burned down 2 weeks back in the Malibu fires. It was actually being rented out to a man named Butch Walker, who fronted one of my favorite bands growing up- the Marvelous 3. He is currently a solo singer/ songwriter, as well as producer for pretty much everyone and anyone (Tommy Lee, Lit, Sevendust, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Pink, All American Rejects.... Lindsay Lohan).

Anyways, he lost everything he owns in the fire. Literally, everything, including master tapes to everything he has ever recorded.... and his D90.

This image kind of put things in perspective for me personally. I know i`d lose my sh*t if this happened to me

he posted a photo album on his myspace of the wreckage.

It's truly pathetic- I see pictures of the burned down houses and think, "that sucks". Then I see a picture of a burned D90 and i'm absolutely heartbroken.

looks rebuildable. still sucks, but it looks rebuildable. especially given current d90 prices. I'd keep it if it were me.

Being one who lost my own D90 to a fire, I can feel for him, but just from the one picture, and not seeing if damage on the inside or engine area, on the surface looks to be rebuild-able.
