"I'm not familiar with whatever the "Big Chicken Dinner" thing is. I just got out as soon as I could by not re-enlisting."

A Big Chicken Dinner is a Bad Conduct Discharge. Come on 6 year military vet, you didn’t know that?? Wow.

I’m sure the annals of great American history will include your contribution of working on cell phones, i bet it will be placed right next to Jefferson authoring the Declaration of Independence and the Wright Brothers flying their first airplane. Pat yourself on the back for that made the list.

I don't think anybody in a current combat zone is feeling used by the military. We've been in a fight over there for the last 19 years, so it cannot come as a surprise to any recruits. These are highly motivated professional soldiers who are there because it's the only place they can be at present where they can actually do their jobs and not be on a training exercise. Firing live at real targets is what they live for. The risks are understood. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to put warheads on foreheads.

Thank you to all my brothers and sisters that defend this nation and are around the globe in harms way. I know over there it's just another day, in the suck but we're thinking of you.
I don't think I could improve on this so, I'll repost myself.

OK, I'm jumping in. Hey toolbag, if you have a problem with thanking veterans who served/serve their country in whatever capacity and for whatever reason, start your own thread. You could wallow there in your own feeble minded excrement; we may have the first amendment but we also have a little something called decency. Or I use to think that we all did. I realize this is a forum, but there are a lot of military folks here and they don't deserve to have to waste a hot second on your garbage.

Your responses have clearly shown that you have the mental capacity of any one of the numerous idiots I "met" in the Middle East. A word of advice; if you want to start a sh!tstorm like this, then I recommend that at least you sound just a bit intelligent in your responses. Did you actually take advantage of the GI Bill? It really doesn't sound like it from the "quality" of your posts.

You obviously have the right to say whatever the hell you want, but do it in your own thread/forum/World of Warcraft circle. We are still in a time of conflict; I pray every night that my brothers and sisters who are overseas as I type this don't get blown the hell up so they can come home to their loved ones. And yes, some of them are very liberal in thought as well.

Try some fricken' manners for a change. And Boo Fricken' Hoo. Go ahead and blame everybody but yourself for why you are such a piece of work. Poor you, always the victim. You know what, I'll do you a favor. Hop a flight to Kuwait City and I can get you on a free flight to your choice of countries full of people with your train of thought. You can PM me if you are too embarrassed to do so, but I have a feeling you are too stupid to be embarrassed.

Though I may or may not agree with what my chain of command orders me to do, I say Hooah and do it to the best of my abilities though it may prove costly. And I thank all of you, past, present, and future, who do the same. Thank You.
