Uship is a joke. Bunch of rednecks with tuned diesel trucks and car carriers. Likely minimal insurance. No thanks

UShip is awesome for what it is - eBay for shipping. Read feedback, leave feedback, and you pay when shipping is complete.

Never had an issue with anyone on uShip.

Uship worked for me without issue, $1k from Portland, Oregon to Mass. Sketchy, but it worked.

I've used it before and actually after believe or not without issue.. This guy just way underbid. I think he got half way to florida and realized he was going to pay more on fuel roundtrip than he was being paid and decided to bail..

I hear you, it's a great way to ship things cheap until something goes wrong. When the guy wrecks his rig, or his engine blows up, or when he gets arrested at a checkpoint for outstanding warrants what is going to happen to your vehicle? Not saying there isnt a time and place for Uship just beware that there is essentially zero accountability or Plan B. As evidenced by John's truck being left in Memphis.

I had some uncertainty in my schedule around the time my 90 was to be delivered so I had my broker arrange a shipper with a local depot that offered to hold my car there for a few days without extra charge if needed.

I won't recommend him by name only because he insisted on taking an up-front fee, but otherwise everything worked great.

It's always a risk shipping your vehicle. I've had good and bad experiences with uship and other transport services. Paying more or less for the shipment doesn't guarantee anything, it really boils down to the driver. They could be the best driver in the world... but have that once in a life time bad day and crash. Then while picking your guts up off the floor you have to fight for the cars life with insurance companies. It's a nightmare but sometimes you get lucky (like I did) and through discussion find a person at the insurance co who is a vehicle lover. I had to bypass the initial rep...'how in the hell you can give a crap so much about a pos car?!'... Just say a prayer and be grateful when things go as planned.

Used uShip for the very first time. Physically received our truck (VA to FL) in less than 48 hours after listing it. Wow.
