Values

A customer had asked for an appraisal on his Rover, and naturally I look hereas well as Copley's site to help with determining values.
Other 94 ST's in BRG have between 40 and 147k miles and many are modified. Asking prices are between $37k and $83k.

So, what do you think be a value of a 12k mile, mostly stock (OME springs and shocks), BRG ST, that has had a thourough service of fluids, rubber, new top, oil cooler hose upgrade- Thanks, Eric at Trailhead!- etc.?

This 16k mile 1994 ST was bid to $75,000 a month ago but didn't meet reserve.

This is true. BRG is a '97 ST only color... and it's not really BRG at that.

Is it Coniston? We at times provide a written value statement for Defender owners if they need one for agreed-value insurance.

In my opinion, if its a real 16k mile truck and is as clean as it should be for that mileage, its probably about 90 retail. But it would need to have all the boxes checked - clean carfax, ownership and service history, fully cleaned up and ready to go. 1994s aren't as strong as 95/97s though. Buyers at these numbers want round tails for some reason.

My gaff: It is Coniston.
Original owner.
Going to see how the paintless dent guy makes out- there are a few bumps and bruises- then a very good quality detail. I just finished a major service including a lot of rubber parts, new top, fluids, and more.
I appreciate all of the feedback. I am pretty sure it isn't for sale, just preparing for an agreed-on valuation for insurance on this car and his NAS 110.
