Usernames explained?

Frequently wonder about people's usernames.
Especially the military guys, not being military myself.

Tomaco is from a Simpsons episode where Homer mixes tomato seeds, tobacco seeds and nuclear waste with hilarious results. It's also a mashup of my name, and what I named the 46' sailboat I used to live on.

Leeds?

Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK

Because I studied, worked and lived there for over 30 years.

It was quite amusing on UK forums when people asked where I was located

A clue in my login name??

Anyway no longer live and work in Leeds but kept my old login name.

It took awhile to figure out my username. I thought I came up with a pretty unique and creative one.

I used to be a Bronco II fanatic back in college. Back in the day I made a yahoo email account to order stuff from the Internet and keep the spam away from my primary email. Funny thing was when I made the email account I might have had a few and thought I was spelling it right.... Since then I've kept using the handle on things

Back when I joined I believe I was the only one with a diesel 90. The site was quite simple back then. There was no 300tdi trucks on the board at the time

When I moved into my house javelinas ruled my yard. I would plant landscaping in the daytime and they would rip it out at night. I started devising a Wile E Coyote plans to rid my yard of them and my wife started calling me Javelinadave.

It involved wooden boxes propped open with sticks, anvils hung from trees and a huge red rocket. I still have the catalog from Acme.
