Used soft tops

What is a used stock D90 soft top worth? No rips, tears and comes with all windows. I find myself with a bunch of them and need to know what the market price is. Most have about 15-20K miles on them.

From what I've seen, Tickfords were going for about $600-$800 on Ebay. I bought a used Tickford from Badger for $800 last year. It seems the market is drying up a tad due to the economy, but I'd still say $600-$800 depending on condition.

If you are talking the BesTops, those seem to be much cheaper.

I would, because I am not going to spend $2500 on a Badger. I like the original tops, but then I am a glutton for punishment.

I didn't know I was getting $2500 for the Badger top? The Badger FDS tops are $2195 which is $5 more than Rovers North, unless they have them on sale. We are going to offer a Badger I FDS in vinyl ( I know about properties of materials don't worry) for $1695. I just need to do a road test on the prototype that we have finished. But hey, if you can't afford $1695 then the used tops are the way to go.

Chris, check your website, the cheapest top you have is $2095 from what I can see, plus belt rails and shipping pushes the cost darn near $2400. If one wants gutter kit, be prepared to sell a kidney or a child. I'm not knocking your tops or prices, you get what you pay for. I am glad you are going to start offering some less expensive versions.

The breakdown of the kit for the GK version list the top at $2095, but you will need the gutter kit and door seals added to that price. The reason I listed it that way is if somebody already had a gutter kit and door seals and just needed a top. That way I don't have to re-adjust the pricing. If you need hardware to fit an upgraded top of course that is extra. I think that the Badger economy top will be a popular item for owners that are strapped for cash. Of course the vinyl top is not as strong as the Twillfast top, therefore will not last as long.

I like this thread and just putting information out there.

P.S. A GK top can't be used with out the gutter kit.

Chris - Good talking with you today.
I am glad to be getting GK and top. I have been completely happy and impressed with quality of my other Badger products (surrey, front seat covers, and rear seat covers) I have purchased. I feel like my money has been well spent so far that's why I keep coming back and buying more.
