And that is why I'll be TIG'ing up a fuel tank when I rebuild my D90 in fall.

I'll make a standing offer of $100 for any damaged NAS fuel tanks people need to get rid of when they buy a replacement. Easy to fix and I'll sell back to the community at a reasonable price.

Where were you when I threw mine away after months of trying to sell?

Yes, plastic and NLA, hence the ECR price for a good one. I bought one a couple years back and was shocked and amazed by the going rates then.

Out of curiosity - am I the only one who's noticed that ECR hasn't posted here in a long time?

I've noticed the same thing. I'm assuming that they're extra busy with spring fast approaching.

I thought that the NAS tanks were /almost/ identical to the euro Td5/very late 300Tdi/50th aniversary V8efi 90 tanks, in which case they sell here for about 40~50 UKP.

It doesn't Ask him for it back! I'll pay shipping and the next person who needs one can pay enough to cover it then.

There are differences. Apparently.

Kensington wants nearly 2k for their tanks!

I have a used d1 tank FS!

Charles, do you want a NAS 110 tank? I bought a new one and have to install it soon. The old one is in pretty good shape except that one of those stupid vent tubes snapped off the top corner.

110 tank is different shape/location than the 90, I think it's the 90 tank he's after (though I probably shouldn't speak for him ).

I don't need any tanks, I just can't stand to see an NLA item thrown out that can be repaired so easily.

On the 90 tank all the fittings go into grommets iirc. Is the 110 one not the same? In any event, if it's repairable I'll take it if you are going to throw it away otherwise and will fix and save until someone needs it.
