so much awesomeness in that article.

"Land Rover Defenders are so rugged that the roof, or in this case, a fender, have plating so they can be walked on. That feature comes in handy if you are outside the vehicle and trying to fend off a pride of lions that happen to walk by."

The West Coast Defender IG page hasn't been updated in months. And even then the last few posts weren't of much.

I'm in LA, going to drive down there tomorrow just for kicks, to see if it's still there or converted into kabob or vape shop.

Was it always a stereo shop? Never a garage?

BTW I saw four Defenders between Malibu and Santa Monica, but was sad I didn't see yours.

All you had to do was send me a pm. Just got back from Mexico. Sad I didn't see any new defenders there. Funny enough tons in San Diego with Mexico plates but none in actual mexico.

That guy's a Guppy; "Yuppy with a Gut," but he also reminds me of the aquatic varietal as well!

Good video footage, though.

The grainy interior door panel in the power lock pic is nice. Is that the standard interior surface on a Puma door?

I really don't know what to think of this guy. I live in Portland, and I'm still baffled by this guy.

Still trying to let this powerful statement sink in. Brave words from a place known to keep it weird.

yeah, landroversuk.co.uk - I'd posted pics of the trucks side by side a year or two ago. They had a beluga black NAS D90 on their lot that had a SVX grill or some crap, but aside from that truck (which I'm assuming they purchased outfitted like that or had someone else do) I've only seen trucks imported to them and marketed as their own builds.
