us alloy beadlocks

My apologies to the "defendersource style elite", may their beards grow ever longer and their beer bellies grow ever larger.

Looks like Raceline is making an alloy beadlock in a 5x6.5 pattern:

aluminum beadlock ring:
Raceline Wheels - RT233 AL Monster

cast steel beadlock ring:
Raceline Wheels - RT233 ST Monster

prices are high...higher than Hutchinson Rock Monsters. But for the wealthy crowd, it's another alternative...

Spyderlock wheels, oddly has them in 17, 18, or 20 inch sizes (but no 16)

I'd still vote Hutchinson's

I made my own beadlocks out of some extra Rover wheels back in '07.
Back then DIY weld on rings were cheap.
I can imagine they're even cheaper nw....

sorry...I don't plan to buy any of these wheels...just thought I'd share for folks since the selection of aftermarket alloy wheels in the US is pretty slim

I personally would love a set of rock monsters. I am wondering how well making some weld-in aluminum beadlock rings for freestyles would work.

Are those actual beadlocks, or simulated poser beadlocks? They don't look like real beadlocks. Not enough engagement under the ring to catch the tire edge.

If they are real beadlocks, any problems with coning?

I actually never had a chance to run them...I traded a set of unmolested freestyle's for them, sat on 'em for about a year with the intention of using them on my truck but then ended up selling them when plans changed.

They were the real thing, though. Converted by Champion -- they milled the face of the wheel off and welded a locking ring to it. The conversion was really well done.
