If you are net getting the communication satisfaction you are looking for pre-purchase, you should know that there are a variety of sources for galvy chassis in the US.

Have you used your telephone yet? Or just email?

I assume email and you're using info@urbanlandcruisers.com?

ULC are still in business and supplying - best bet is email though. Dave is trying to rectify things, but ask anyone who has a small business how difficult things can get finding good people.

For starters, the three below are also active on the board:

Rovers North Rovers North - Classic Land Rover Parts
Defenders Nrth West www.defendersnw.com
Safari Heritage Parts Home - Safari Heritage Parts

There are two common chassis manufacturers that I am aware of. I ended up sourcing my chassis directly from Marsland UK, because they had a sweet deal going at the time including fuel tank/sender:
Marsland Chassis

The other common chassis manufacturer is Richards Chassis UK:
Richards Chassis

When I was down at the shop I didn't see any frames in stock. I think he just got a container in but I don't know if he's keeping these on hand

Amen to that, Jonesy! I have been very satisfied with the finished product on my d90. Took a few tries to get things right, but turnover was the issue...

Sorry, being out of the country means when i arrange shipping to my side that it is delivered within days, not months. I need more reliability for the time frames I work in.

What does this even mean? If you want it in days why not just call a manufacturer and pay out the ass to have it overnighted?

Easy. If I have a boat leaving for the Bahamas, i cannot have a huge pallet of chassis sitting round if it misses the boat, nowhere to store. If the boat is leaving on the 10th, and the vendor says it can be there on the 8th, i expect the 8th, 9th or 10th. The idea being that we (vendor and I) planned for this delivery. cannot have someone tell me the 8th and then 2 years later show up.

Having it shipped across the Atlantic is not as reliable as having one already in country that only has to ship to Florida, not found intercontinental shipping to be on time for small shipments. Whatcha think? Or is this too much to ask?
