Whatever...

I have no desire to make racks all day. Don't have time. Don't think people would pay what it costs. Would shoot myself in the head if all we did was build racks all day anyway. If I'm missing out on a big un-tapped rack market then so be it. I don't want to be in the mail order rack business.

UO just does racks and I wish them all the best and we send inquires their way often and I just pointed out some facts about making racks and why the costs go up when they are exact copies and said the UO rack is a good choice.

How those 2 things make me bitter I have no idea.

So I guess I am bitter, sure, whatever. Yes I am very bitter.

Can we get back to talking about racks now?

I thought "top 10 lists" in general were pretty played out but now I've changed my mind.

Why do people use sans-serif fonts? I believe they're vulgar and offensive.

And no, I shall not, I like the pictures, but there are way too many sans-serif fonts there.

Because they help guide the eye along the lines in large blocks of text... also, they have become increasingly used in the web environment due to the fact that they are easier to render in smaller pixel sizes.

Hey, you asked.

I still think everyone should just use Comic Sans MS. *shudder*

I wouldn't worry about that Derek. Last time I spoke with Pat Fall (may her husband rest in peace) the tooling and all for the racks had been left in the UK when they moved production and she stated that SD had no interest in the rack market and never even planned to take the jigs to the new location due to the cost of shipping them and lack of potential sales. True that isn't grounds for a legal case at all, but SD no longer cares about that product or design.

I was thinking the same thing. I had a couple of conversations with her through email and she was extremely nice and helpful. I don't think that they would be the type of company that would come after anyone for duplicating a rack. Maybe Derek should give her a call or email and explain what he is doing over here, that way he could have her blessing on the racks.
