Come on now Keith!

You know I love you but unbreakable? Give me one week with those and I will ship a bag of pieces back to you! Congrats though, and thanks for the hard work you put in this for the Rover crowd!

Made it further than half of the other guys, but the Hammers won.

Ahhh David I know you couldn't break the 30 spline Toyota stuff...
TD5 install?
The motor and tranny are out, the V8 wiring is out, the security system is working without the ECM. The tranny is off at Southwest rovers being converted to a Disco version and checked out.
But now there are delays in the TD5... Well I need to drop in a set of CV's and axles for test fitting.. While I'm at it Karen needs an ARB installed too... Anyway the wiring is figured for the whole install and should work out without any trouble..
Add to that I'm Mr. Mom this week and next there will be very little work getting done in the TD5 arena.
When I get back to it in earnest I will post updates with pics..

Well, odds are about 100 to 1 you break the rover diff first.

Don't you have the feeling you're taking it the wrong way maybe?

If Dave put that CV with his 9" he will for sure send Keith the bag, but if those things go into a Rover diff. that would be a different story (that's why they have the life time replacement). Running the longtracks with 3.54, ARB, and low range kit would be the best setup if you want to keep your Rover a Rover, well kind of

I guess this will put GBR few steps behind. Wondering if they are trying to come up with something different now.

Good job keith.

haha Extreme. Please correct me but isnt the 3:54 the strongest R&P for a Rover keeping a Rover 3rd.

Keith,
If you don't have time to install them, send them to me.

Also, Keith, what is your views on having Bobby heat treat the stock 3.54 R&P's? Even with the 35's, I have no plans on going with a lower gear set

If you have it out of the truck and want to send it to me I can cryo freeze it for you. I can do it for free in about 3-4 weeks. Heat treat won't really help you, but if the steel is crappy enough (I think it is), freezing could make a big difference. I would be willing to do this for free if you are going to buy Keith's setup. I want to see how big a difference it really makes. Kinda just curiosity for me, but you have to try to break it!

And anyone who thinks I can't break things, doesn't know me at all. I have very bad luck with moving parts.

Hmmm, let me check with Will Tillery and see if he has any gear sets. If so, I could have him drop ship them to you, then I could just install them once they return.
