ULC needs good people

HI All

This week we had to let two people go as they just could not do their job on a consistent basis. The employee issue is a nightmare for us. We have good managers (-1 as of 5pm) but we are lacking in good service/shop people.

As many of you know we got too big for our britches accidentally and we are feeling the pain of that, as are unfortunately, a few of our projects.

We are well back on track but it is easy to loose momentum in small business. We need help. We need people to come work.

This could be a full time relocation or even a few weeks. I am open to people working remotely and non traditional situations.

We can offer good money, a giant shop with room to hide as needed, more Rovers and Cruisers than you have ever seen, hot water in the employee restroom!

Honestly , this sort of work is much better in theory than in practice but for the right people it is very cool.

If you are interested or know someone who is please get in touch.

Same here. Good people are impossible to find and they just keep talking about unemployment.

Good luck with the search.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

Couldn't agree more. People want to get paid for sure, but showing up to do their job is often a different story. Between personal issues (substances/alcohol, ex-wife/kid drama, housing) and teaching greenhorns a trade, it's a wonder how small businesses survive.
I could tell you all about my struggles finding, training and keeping good people, but that would derail your thread.

Best of luck and kudos for reaching out to the Rover community and showing is that you're human.

(I like the part about having tons of warehouse space to hide! That would sell me for sure if I were a qualified candidate. All the talented savants I know love their space)

I nominate Jason (so he can finish his truck)

Jason, your work and GF would understand if you took a few weeks to work at ULC, right.
Heck, I'd do it for free if I could!
