Ukulele

So I've been trying to decide on a musical instrument to learn that would be versatile and portable...In my research not only did I come across a Ukulele Orchestra in GB but them playing the Good, The Bad and The Ugly...one of my favorite movies.

My parents got me an (unrequested) Ukulele for my birthday (I have yet to learn). But what I did find out is how AWESOME it can be played with this song:

Check it--you won't be disappointed...

Check out the same guy doing "ukulele weeps" in Central Park
Unbelievably talented uke player.

I actually bought a Koalana ukulele just to play around with a few years back. Kind of frustrating knowing ill never be 10% of this guys skill level.

I bought the full version of "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" on DVD shortly after it came out - it included miniatures of the movie posters. Every couple of years I dig out the DVD and play it. Clint Eastwood may have been top billed but Eli Wallach's Tuco was more interesting and entertaining.

Oh, and definitely go with the ukulele - you'll be able to play a lot of the Ivor Biggun songs

That's what I'm going to do to. I had never heard of him. Thanks for sharing. We had a block party a couple of weeks ago and there were about 12 different bands or performers that played. One was a solo guitarist vocalist. He was amazing. I took some vid. Awesome.
