UK Postage Help?

Can someone in the UK do me a favor? I won an ebay auction for 3 defender dash swithes and failed to notice that the seller refuses to ship outside the UK. He doesnt want to fill out the customs slip. Seems silly to me, but I'm in no position to argue...

I'm trying to find someone willing to accept the shipment and forward it to me in the US. It should be less than 4-5 pounds in postage, and I'm more than happy to reimburse or reciprocate the favor somehow.

A customs slip still has to be filled out - whether it's for $50 or $5000. If it's like here, a different form based on value and/or weight.

Heck, if he's going to make the trip to the post office it certainly isn't any more of an inconvenience to fill out a form. You're right, he's being an ass!

How much was the shipping on that x-case? I just won a camshaft from RPI on E-bay, $75 for the camshaft, $110 for shipping. Ouch. If surface post is cheaper, I'd almost be willing to ask the same favor.

Still cheaper than buying from most US shops though.

Jim,
I'm in the UK at the minute and it's no problem for me to mail them to you. PM/email me if you still need help.

Cheers,
Nick.
