U.S. Open at Merion -- anyone going? June 10-16th

Is anyone going? I live about 100 yards from the course. Looking to rent a couple rooms.

D-90.com discount or trade for rover parts etc. The ritz it is not, but I do have good booze.

Even if you are going and have a place to stay and want to hang out, let me know.

My spare rooms have been converted from parts rooms and are basically sealed off, but like i said, it is not the ritz.

You can drive the course all you want. ;-)

Did you get tickets? If you (or if you hear from any of your friends) who have weekend tickets (surplus to needs), let me know. Friends need weekend tickets and they all sold out the first day in the first few hours.

I did not get tickets. I am staying as far away from what undoubtedly will be a massive cluster***k of traffic and people as I can. Merion and Ardmore/Haverford are not equipped for an event the size of the open. Even limiting attendance as they have it will be really bad.

God damn plane and blimp kept circling my house. Almost mowed down some drunks walking in the middle of the road at 1:30am on the way home from work. Can't wait until its over. Traffic was not as bad as I feared.
