Tuscan Blue NAS90

I've seen a number of NAS90s painted in non-original colors... but have never liked them. But I'm digging this one! Would love to see it in person. Even if it isn't an early 2-door RR, still an iconic color.

It's a shame every frame off restoration converts them to an auto box. I've always enjoyed the 5-speed.

With you! I'd love to drive a 90 or 110 LS with a manual, but I've never known someone to bother doing it. Less resale market for them I'm guessing. I'm almost done acquiring parts to swap one of my lesser '95 lwb's to a R380. It's going to be fun! Not spritely, but a kick to drive nonetheless ;-)

Glad to hear I am not the only one who prefers three pedals to two..

(starting to feel that way though)

Though not a Defender, I swapped an r380 into my 1993 LWB when I did a diesel swap. Best driving Range Rover Iíve ever had! Absolutely worth doing. My next project will also include a manual transmission but I want an engine with better acceleration this time!

I don't feel that Adventure Motorcars gets a lot of attention, but they appear to be doing great work restoring/refurbishing Defenders. I've never seen one of their trucks in person that I am aware of but it seems they have happy clients. They have had some one off builds that weren't in my taste but most seem to be kept stock.

At least one should exist by end of next winter around these parts....
------------------------

There is this one but don't know anything more than the video... Not sure how the R380 is taking it... Maybe the L Suffix 44A R380 will handle it... I know people say it is more then it can handle but I have seen people making 600whp on stock Honda civic transmissions so maybe it could handle one of the lower HP LS's like the 315hp/330ft lb LC9

The engine is mated to the factory R380 five-speed manual transmission via a Fortified Customs-built adapter.

I can vouch for Stephen's high-quality work and he is a defender nut (like the rest of us) running a professional operation at Adventure Motorcars

I don't care for the color myself. It looks like candy.
