The 19j is indeed the Diesel Turbo.

The Diesel Turbo was replaced by the 200Tdi in 1989.

The 200 Tdi was replaced by the 300Tdi in 1994.

The 300Tdi was replaced by the TD5 in 1998.

Not sure what you are meaning, but they have always been called a 2.5 Turbo Diesel.

This is a perfect example of what not to do in someones for sale thread. Aside from being against the rules of the forum (for good reason), its just wrong.

Please take this outside of this thread. Please read the Land Rover Manuals and you will see what it is called.

Turbo diesel=any diesel engine with assisted combustion pressure developed from a turbocharger.

Diesel Turbo=Turbo prop aircraft or Jet developed pressure or you might have been to New Zealand or Australia and learned funny talk. JK

Just my 2 cents from being a CAT and International diesel tech, but I am also saying I could be wrong

To differentiate between it & the engine they used in the Range Rovers. That was a completely different engine (I think it was Italian).
