Truth in 24

I downloaded this movie from iTunes for free yesterday. Its a pretty cool movie if you are into Le Mans style racing. The movie follows the Audi team during the 2008 season from Sebring to Le Mans. Real shame that VW board for reason not released to anyone pulled the tam from all compition of 2009 except for Sebring and I think Le Mans for this year. So want to see more of the R15. Looked really sweet at Sebring.

Fantastic film, especially when you have been there. It was very well done by NFL Films. The R15 is an incredible car and it looks like this years 24 hrs will be very competitive with the Peugeots and Aston Martin/ Lolas. It is too bad that this will be the last race for the CR6 in GT1. I'll be going to Lime Rock for the ALMS in July with my Land Rover and camping kitchen- Can't wait.

I have downloaded this video and not watched yet. Looking forward to it. I am way into endurance racing.

Make sure you have also see the all time classic - "LeMans" with Steve McQueen. My lifelong love or Porsche - and the awesome 917s makes me bias..............but This is one of my favorite all time moves - and really captures racing from a different era at LeMans. I try to watch it every June before the actual race!!!!

It is fantastic. My wife who is no fan of autosports in general loved it. Very well done overall.

X2 on Le Mans. I saw it when it first came out and those screaming 917's ignited my interest in Porsche as a young kid.

I know zero about film making, but I heard somewhere that Le Mans incorporated cutting edge (at the time)technology as well, pioneering the use of the slow motion flashback scenes, et al.

I remember watching Lemans at the local drive-in when it came out. The music score Michel Legrande is superb. You have to go to Lemans to get that feeling. It's absolutely amazing! When I went in 2004 it was sureal standing on the starting grid and realizing I was really there. I also happened to bump into Tom Kristensen while looking at some automotive artwork during scrutinering at the park in town. There have also been many friends of my family that have raced there, Sam Posey, John Fitch and Bob Grossman to name a few. It is a trip any endurance fan should take.
