Transporting parts into USA from Canada

Has any body done this. Do US customs impose a tax if I want to cross over into the US and ship some surplus NOS military tires from Vermont or NewYork state?

Thanks for any input.

Additionally - parts for vehicles older than 25 years are exempt from duty, when entering Canada.

Hi,

I see you are probably not too far from me in Montréal. There is a shipping place just at the first exit past the US customs from Montréal in Champlain NY. I use Kinek and pay per packadge, no need to get a yearly membership: https://www.kinek.com/find-a-kinekpo...rProvinceId=53

Yes, I am in Montréal. Rover is very good for all the potholes. Good to know about that kinek place.

Cheers

Le me know what parts you are selling. I buy a bunch of parts all the time and I'm located in Hochelaga, near the stadium I'm finishing fixing up my 1994 D90 (NAS), but will likely be starting on a 1998 D130 after that.
