Unhappy Tragic News about a D-90 Member and Friend: Brad Harris

Hi All,

I just received some terrible news about a D-90 Member and Friend, Brad Harris (bharris). Brad was in a horrible accident on Friday here in LA and passed away. Brad just moved here less than a year ago, I believe, from Colorado. For those of you who knew Brad, he leaves behind a wife and family.

I hope to have more info soon about services for him if you are in the area. He was a great guy and will surely be missed.

Brian

Really sucks. We were all suppose to meet Thursday for a drink. I really feel bad for his family. He was a good guy.

Brian,

If you hear more or maybe we can put some donation together for the family le me know.

RIP Brad.

One of his contributions to me is to remember again how fragile this all is and not to look much past tomorrow.

I pray for his family now.

That is terrible news. Brad was such a nice guy and had a great sense of humor. My prayers are with his family, may they be able to see their way through this terrible tragedy.

The accident was the topic of discussion at work this morning when I came in. Thought the name sounded familiar, then I looked here. Sad news.

RIP Brad.

Barry, great idea on getting some people together to finish up what Brad did not have the time/chance to finish...I think it'll help the family out a lot.

http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=25327

I think Buck had a pretty good idea (at least at first) of what direction Brad was going in with the rebuild of his D90, and the progress he had made.

Brad (and his kids) loved that truck. I was looking for an old pic he had posted, and while I didn't find what I was looking for, I came across this old thread he had started about his kids and his Defender, and I wanted to share it...he was so proud of both.

http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=20592

When I was looking for that pic, I noticed he was on the forum last on Friday at 5:52 PM, and the accident was reported at 6:14 PM, so he was probably on here last before he ran out the door and got on his bike. It's just sad.

Shit, this is sad news. My thoughts are with his family and friends. He was a very decent and helpful board member.
