Thanks guys. Remember if you donate to do it as a gift. Got a few as payments and I get dinged with fees.

I just read the thread. Incredible generosity everyone!! Definitely a tear jerker, and my prayers go to his family. My only interaction with Brad was buying two diffs from him (now happily locking wheels in my father's discovery). I was struck by his kindness and pleasantries, even from that brief interaction.

I was told that Brad's wife was very touched by the donation she received and that she's also grateful for our offer to help with Brad's 90. Nice job everyone.

As soon as Barry and I get a chance to take a look at the truck we'll let you all know what's going on.

Thanks again.

I just saw this thread and am in shock. I don't have the words right now to express how sorry I am and how huge this loss is to not just the ones who knew him, but even to those who never had the opportunity.

Rest in peace brother.

I'll see if the family is available next weekend for us to come over and take a look at the truck. I'm in for HH next week for sure.

I haven't had time to visit the board in months but I'm sorry to hear about Brad's passing. I am in for parts if needed while finishing the truck. Condolences to the family.

Barry,

I hope it's not too late, but I just sent a donation to your PayPal account. It is extremely kindhearted of you to organize for the Harris family.

Just catching up on the threads about Brad. The strange thing is that I felt a certain connection to the name since that fateful night, but I didn't know why. I Googled info about the accident and discovered the name, location, etc. Only until tonight am I discovering he was a fellow Defender owner and D90 source member. As I passed his body on the freeway that night and throughout the drive home, I thought of the family he left behind. I spoke to my wife and kids about what the family must be going through at that precise moment and how every day could be our last.

May he and Dave Caouette, who was senselessly shot in the Seal Beach massacre, share some amazing Land Rover ownership stories up there.

So Barry and I got a chance to go up today to look at Nola. It doesn't look great. Both axles are off and it's sitting on some Dollies and tires. We both have some pics that we'll upload. This thing will take some time to get back up and running I think.

------ Follow up post added December 10th, 2011 04:12 PM ------

Here are some pics I took. Barry has more.
