This is tragic news and despite my insistence to the powers that be...they did not feel that Tony Brooks was qualified...!

for some strange reason I didn't mind Keaton as Batman But Affleck....holy cow, he's OK but doesn't do it for me. The worst was Geo Clooney...that was just silly...IMO.

That's because Keaton was completely marginalized by the awesomeness of Kim Bassinger.

Maybe I do need to make an eye appointment. I know this headline says "worst" but when I look at it, it says "best". That can't be right.

Val Kilmer's Career (sorted in ascending chronological order and diminishing fame)
  1. Real Genius
  2. Top Gun
  3. Batman (begin Twinkee timeline)
  4. Fatman (to present)

I actually thought he was pretty entertaining in the movie Willow.

There was backlash when Keaton was chosen as Batman as well. Affleck should be OK but doubt he'll top Christian Bale. The big news here is that this movie is a sequel to Man of Steel and supposedly Batman & Superman go at it.

tights = check
capes = check
secret lifestyle = check
lack of commitment to women = check
really super, super powers = superman
overcompensating for lack of super powers with battery operated devices = batman

let's keep it going. what else am I missing?

------ Follow up post added August 23rd, 2013 04:53 PM ------

Weaknesses - a piece of a glowing rock shaft in superman's proximity immediately brings him to his knees...

Val Kilmer was pretty badass as Jim Morrison in The Doors! He even sang all of the lyrics in the movie, but then again, this just might be the college frat boy trying to come back out of me!
