Traded my 110 for a Saracen

Wednesday I traded my ex mod 110 for an Alvis Saracen MK6.

It's pretty amazing mega smiles per mile. The wife even likes it more then the 110. I imagine she will be driving it more then me.

It's only 24k lbs 6 wheel drive 4 wheel steering so it's not bad right?

Strip off the camo, repaint Metallic Silver, and sell it as a luxury APV?

I've got to get some new jacks....prob 5-7 mpg and a 80g tank

------ Follow up post added October 3rd, 2016 11:53 AM ------

I think it's better we just go with smiles per mile.

I'd love to bring it to winter romp but I still need a trailer/truck big enough to move it. It will just be the 109 Ambulance at the romp.

You really need 2 people and an intercom system to drive it.

That's the wife having a go as commander

Alvis Scimitar or Scorpion for 110 dream

I have to admit I've coveted Alvis tracked tanks forever. I once had an 1952 Alvis TA21 Mulliner bodied saloon and wished I'd traded up to a Scorpion or Scimitar.
Problem of course is where to park it in a metropolitan neighborhood. I'm not out in the countryside.

make sure you drive it every week or the seals in the fluid fly wheel will dry out and it will be a pain in the ass to repair.

Plan is to do a 5/10 mile ride every week to keep the seals up and a 20-30 mile drive once a month or every other month.
