Toylander

Im looking to build a toylander for my kids (Childs electric cars from Toylander) but the owner of the company wont ship a copy of his plans to the US.

Is there an overseas member here that would be willing to let me order a set to their address and then forward them to me here in the US? I would gladly pay your postage costs. It souns as if they are nothing more than a thick envelope worth of materials.

If so, kindly pm me and I will get things on order

Vin

There are a few members on here with toylanders (me included) that can get you plans. I don't have the plans though. I had another member build it for me.

I'm sure someone will chime in.

my buddy has access to a cmc table for kitchen cabinets might be able to cut something for a group or another buddy runs goose-gear.com and they might be willing to do a run of them

if someone gets a hold of the plans I can see about getting a price

Thanks guys. Didn't realize the amount of interest. Hopefully one of the UK guys chimes in tomorrow morning their time and offers up an address. I'll let you know what shakes out.

It goes about 6 miles an hour.

It wasn't cheap. All my parts were supplied from toylander.

Well.... Time is money.... Been working on it for a few years now.....
If you think you want to start working on it next year: start today!

My wife is flying to Poland tonight and flying back in a week. I am pretty sure you can get the drawing shipped to her hotel and we can ship them to you when she comes back in a week (well... Or two weeks later when we come back from vacation! ).
PM me today if you want to do that.

FWIW - although the owner cannot ship plans to the US, he has successfully, and with US Attorney's issued Cease and Desist on a few folks on this side of the pond who took the CAD files and began selling.

Well, the agreement you accept when you buy the plans limit what you can do with them. So, this makes sense to me and seems fair!
I am sure if someone was to license the design for resale, then the owner would be open for a trade agreement. Mind you, if you sell Toylanders, chances are that you need for them to follow safety laws (which is likely the reason the UK owner decided not to ship anymore to the U.S.)

That would be hilarious if toylander couldn't be sold in the states for safety reasons! More like it would make all the other BS power wheels UNSAFE! As it it would demolish anything it ran into like freakin' Big Foot at a monster truck rally! Obviously I just mean the composition and weight of the body being all metal and heavy against even the all plastic jeep hurricanes and Barbie escalades! That 30 mph off-roader even more so!
