Ha! Not yet. I should hget her a plastic set of tools so she can fix it herself. The beauty of doing it now before she is old enough to really understand is the lack of vote!

I am- especially of the parts I've had to do twice...the instructions leave something to be desired in details.

I re-did the front end to make it more correct. The toylander forum is very helpful- some tricks and ideas from the experienced folks really helped the re-build go smoother.

I am now waiting for my bonnet, wing caps, and other parts to ship from the UK. Could be a while since there aren't any flights leaving the UK.

Here are some photos of the almost completed tub. I need the windshield hinge to attach the vent panel. (The extra groove is part of the mistakes from the CNC machine so it will be filled in the next few days.) The dash was cut for a RHD truck and I am doing LHD so I need to re-cut the bottom panel with the correct steering wheel cut out. Need to attach the side panels to complete the tub and that should be it.

The scaled badges arrived the other day so I thought I'd tape them on for effect. Not sure about the one on the front, will need to see with the grill attached.

Next up is filler, sanding and then primer and paint.

Keeping a list of tricks I've learned and steps I wish I'd known about.

Talk about authentic - doing a LHD conversion already. LOL

Looking good. This will have to become a project when I have grand kids for sure.

No joke- there is more irony in that than you realize. We are having a 110 converted.

Wouldn't that be hilarious- pulling up to an event and having a small fleet of these come out of the big trucks. After I get this one completed I want to do a Defender front end- might have to build a second one. Just can't justify two Rovers for one kid, hard enough to justify my own Rover count.
