You wouldn't have a reason to rebuild without your family! I'm thankful that you now have both inspiration AND support! You'll rebuild bigger (130 maybe?) and better (galvi as you go). I'm sorry this happened, and although it could have been worse, it still sucks. Remember the first answer from your insurer will always be no. So will the third and fourth for that matter. But you will eventually come out of this better. All the best!

Thanks for extending that offer. That is extremely generous of you! I might have to take you up on that.

Man that sucks. I'm in Flower Mound and luckily all we got was tons of rain.

I've been doing the rain dance hoping my lazy neighbor's Bradford pear would go but no such luck.

Did you ever get rid of the 90 you had?

Yeah...seriously though glad you guys were ok...lots of folks had damage but low/no injuries. I have a couple of guys up that way and they dealt with the same sort of stuff. I didn't make it to the film festival...was out of town. Did you display?

Hey guys, I just wanted to give everyone a quick update. It took some time but the insurance is almost all squared away. To address the main points that I'm sure you all are curious about

1: My insurance based the settlement on Fair Market Value. I sent a third party appraisal to them. They(State Farm) then used a different third party for an appraisal. The second appraisal came in at roughly $8k. They thought it was a 1988 Range Rover... After that appraisal I found vehicles that were comparable to mine and sent those to State Farm who then sent it to the second appraisal service. The new valuation was much better.

2: I am going to receive a fair reimbursement for the 110. I'll be happy to disclose more info. once it's all finalized.

Many thanks to Brian and DefendersNW for providing a professional and detailed appraisal! It was a big help on this deal.

Glad you all are okay, and really sorry to see your 110 like that! A epic rebuild can bloom from this!

I'm thinking I have to rebuild it. I'm just not sure if that I wont get another one for until it's finished. The four door with a bed configuration has become my favorite but It will be more cost effective to build a two door ST.

Sorry again about your 110 sir. I just saw that this was posted up to IAAI's website and thought I would share in case someone would like to try and resurrect her:

Oh so you didn't get to keep it. I noticed on my State Farm personal items policy (for camera equipment) they added a stipulation on the last renewal that any property they pay you out for then becomes their property. Maybe it's the same for cars. I hope someone does rebuild this.
